Eucharist

Christians make use of prayer and the scriptures as they seek to live faithfully day by day.

Our efforts are sustained and enriched by the Lord’s ministry to us in the sacraments of the Eucharist and Penance (Reconciliation).

Each Sunday the Church urges all the baptised to come together to take part in the offering of the sacrifice of the Mass, re-presenting the once and for all sacrifice of Christ. From Jesus’ loving-self gift we draw life. Some people are able to attend Mass each day. All are encouraged to try and spend some time, even each day, in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
