Monday 25th October
Our coach will leave from the parish church at 8am to take us to Walsingham.
En route we will stop in Cambridge for lunch and for a 2 hour walking tour of the city, including a visit to the Kings College Chapel.
We will arrive in Walsingham in good time to book into our rooms in Elmham House and for our evening meal.
Tuesday 26th October
A day in Walsingham to visit the shrines (and the shops). We will walk the Holy Mile and join other pilgrims for Mass at the chapel of Reconciliation. After lunch (and you are free to take lunch where you choose) we will visit Binham Priory and then return to Walsingham for our evening meal. That evening, pilgrims are invited to bring a poem, a song, a joke for a pilgrims party.
Wedneday 27th October
We will have a leisurely breakfast and leave Walsingham at 1030am (giving time for private visits to the shrine and the town).
We will drive to Ely and will have a guided tour of the Cathedral and its museum of stained glass. Following lunch, (not included in the price) we drive back to London.
Cost
The cost is £150, inclusive of bed, breakfast and evening meal; of guided tours in Cambridge and Ely. Our accommodation is at Elmham House is run by the National Shrine. The rooms are comfortable but they are not ensuite. Single rooms may be available but at an extra cost.
