The Finance Committee and Fr Allen thank all those who have made donations to support the work of our parish, donations which have been made through the Sunday Collection and in others ways.
A few points to ponder as you look at the published accounts.
Over the last 2.5 years, the Parish has made no ‘operating-surplus’.
In other words in that time our income and outgoings have more or less balanced.
However, as you may recall, during the Planned Giving Appeal, we had noted that the Church needs to make an annual surplus of around £15,000 to provide for the future needs of the parish and in particular for the maintenance of the church buildings and grounds.
This means, we are already over £30,000 behind in creating a 'Rainy Day Fund' for the Church. These are challenging times economically. We hope that you will continue to do what you can to help secure our financial future as a Parish together.
